LITE's Club Roots Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary
Kuala Lumpur, 13 August 2026 – LITE celebrated the second anniversary of its signature retro music experience, Club Roots, at a party labelled The Big Jam 2.0, bringing together music enthusiasts and longtime fans for an unforgettable evening of nostalgia and timeless hits from the 80s and 90s.

Held at Bund and Barrel, Petaling Jaya, the celebration brought listeners together to relive the golden era of club music. The event featured performances by veteran DJs Phat Fabes, Alfred, Adrian G, Jazzie Jay, Damian, Robert Mah, JD, and Sheela, who kept the energy high with a soundtrack of dance classics from the 80s and 90s.
Club Roots began as a weekly radio show celebrating the golden era of 80s and 90s nightlife, featuring classic dance anthems mixed by legendary DJs. Airing every Friday from 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM, the show has since evolved into a live event experience that honours the music, culture, and personalities that defined the era. Guests enjoyed hours of non-stop music, dancing, giveaways, and surprises while reconnecting through a shared love of timeless hits.
