SUKMA To Proceed, But Downscaled

This year's edition of SUKMA will proceed as scheduled in August!

However, the Youth and Sports Ministry says it will held at a reduced cost due to the ongoing global energy crisis.

It assured that the number of sports involved will remain unaffected.

The ministry explained that this decision was made after taking into consideration the preparation that athletes had already made for the competition.

According to Berita Harian, postponing SUKMA also risks serious financial implications for the organizer, which is the Selangor government.

He also admitted that the Japanese racer wasn't really given a fair chance at the team, because the second car had subpar specs.

However, he believes that Tsunoda has earned himself another shot in the sport after showing some significant speed as the team's reserve driver.
