The Motorsports Association of Malaysia is expecting a solid response from the fans, when Formula One returns to the Sepang Circuit this October.
It says the race will give an opportunity for the younger generation of F1 enthusiasts from Malaysia and South East Asia to catch a GP up close in person, instead of just on TV screens.
This, after it was confirmed that the Bahrain F1 GP will be hosted at the Sepang Circuit this October 2nd to the 4th due to the conflict in West Asia.
It will be the first F1 race at the SIC since 2017.
Meanwhile, Formula One says ticketing information will be announced soon.
