The national football team has missed out on the final of the ASEAN Cup, after going down to Vietnam.
Harimau Malaya lost 2-0 in the second-leg of their semifinal in Hanoi last night, to wrap up a 4-0 defeat on aggregate.
Despite the result, interim coach Tan Cheng Hoe says he’s happy with the commitment showed by his players – who did well against the defending champions and tournament favourites.

Meanwhile, Malaysia has lost 5-3 to Belgium in their final group match at the FIH Hockey World Cup.
This means the Speedy Tigers miss out on the quarterfinals, and have to settle for a place in the classification playoff.
