Carrick: Don't Celebrate Yet!

Man United interim boss Michael Carrick says there is “still more work to be done” to ensure the club confirm their place in next season’s Champions League.

United moved to third in the Premier League after a 2–1 win over Brentford this morning, putting them 11 clear of sixth spot with four games left.

With the top five qualifying for Europe’s elite competition, United need just two more points to secure a Champions League return after a two-season hiatus.

Separately, former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher believes Carrick will be United manager next season after delivering what he called “sensational results” since taking charge.

The former Liverpool defender says Carrick has proven that he can adapt, an attribute that Ruben Amorim previously did NOT have.
