Brazil have picked up their first win at the football festival in North America…recording a comfortable 3-0 victory over Haiti.

This was also Haiti’s second straight defeat in the group stage, making them the first team to be eliminated from the tournament.

Brazil’s win this morning moves them top of Group C, level on points but ahead on goal difference over Morocco who defeated Scotland 1-0 earlier this morning.

Meanwhile, the USA secured their place in the last-32…after beating Australia 2-0 for their second consecutive win in Group D.

S. Sivasangari has made the final of the PSA Squash Tour Finals, after a shock win over reigning world champion Amina Orfi of Egypt.

Sivasangari is the first Malaysian in 14 years to reach the title decider where she will face another Egyptian, Hania El Hammamy.

National sprinter Mohd Azeem Fahmi has won the 100m event at the Malaysian Athletics Open after clocking a time of 10.21 seconds.
