Arteta Wins EPL Manager Of The Season

The Premier League has named Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta as its manager of the season.

It's in recognition of him guiding the Gunners to their first EPL title in over 20 years.  

Arteta also made history by becoming the first manager in the Premier League era to win the title with a club that he had also played for

Meanwhile, the League Managers Association has named Coventry boss Frank Lampard as its manager of the year.  

He guided Coventry to the Championship division title, which also sealed their return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.

Crystal Palace are aiming to become the next English club to win a major European trophy this season, when they face Rayo Vallecano in the Europa Conference League final.  

Palace will also be motivated to give a winning farewell to boss Oliver Glasner, who is leaving the club.  

Palace are hoping to have star midfielder Adam Wharton back, after he suffered an ankle problem in their final EPL match of the season.

Latest reports say that Man City are still in talks to appoint Enzo Maresca as their new manager, contrary to recent reports claiming that he had agreed a three-year deal.
