Argentina have snuck into the semifinals of the football festival in North America.
This, after the defending champions defeated Switzerland 3-1 in their quarterfinal clash this morning.
Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez secured the victory by scoring in extra-time after the match finished 1-1 at the end of 90 minutes.
Argentina will next go on to face England, who booked their place in the semis with a 2-1 win over Norway earlier today.
Both the Three Lions’ goals were scored by Jude Bellingham, including their extra-time winner.
