Amazing Seniors is hosting its 2nd Annual Seniors Festival, entitled "The Celebration: Life Begins at 50", happening from September 29th to 1st October 2023, from 11am to 9pm at Atria Shopping Gallery, Petaling Jaya. Planned in conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons, the Festival aims to celebrate the wisdom, vitality, and creativity of our senior community. Festival-goers will be treated to 3-days of hourly performances, informative talks, interesting exhibits, warehouse sales and a community bazaar. The Festival will also feature live performances of the Semi-Finalists and Finalists of the Talent Quest competition, a seniors-focused talent contest. What’s In Store for Festival-Goers: Informative Talks: The festival will feature a lineup of talks by experts on various topics, including how to avoid financial scams, how to manage your retirement funds, dementia prevention, memory improvement, retirement living options, nutrition tips, and many more. Representatives from organizations such as Bank Negara Malaysia, the Employees Provident Fund, UMMC, Cagamas and various medical professionals will be providing valuable insights during the 3-day festival. Entertainment Galore: Seniors and their families can enjoy hourly performances, including a seniors' fashion show, choir groups, ukulele performances, traditional Malay dances, and even line dancing. These captivating shows will highlight the talent and creativity of our senior community. Talent Quest Performances: Each night will feature exciting performances by the Semi-Finalists and Finalists of the inaugural Amazing Seniors Talent Quest competition. The Talent Quest performances will start at 7.30 pm each night, after which we invite everyone to dance the night away!
