Wisma Putra: No Malaysian Casualties Following Saudi Airport Attack

 

There were no Malaysians casualties following yesterday's deadly attack on an airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh.  

Wisma Putra adds that our embassy there is assisting Malaysians whose travel plans were disrupted by the incident.  

It also urged Malaysians there to remain vigilant as flight disruptions continue. 

Saudi officials say the attack killed at least 12 people and injured 300 others.

The Health Ministry has welcomed Budget 2027's higher allocation for its Hospital Services Outsourcing Programme. 

The ministry says the additional funding will allow the programme to be expanded to more areas. 

It also means more patients can be referred to private hospitals for faster treatment. 

The Budget earmarked RM200 million for the programme, which aims to reduce waiting times at government healthcare facilities.

The PM has described Budget 2027 as the government's commitment to the people to address issues such as jobs, wages, and minimum income.  

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim adds that the budget also addresses newer challenges affecting groups such as gig workers, and e-hailing and p-hailing riders.

Currently, 15 areas nationwide are reporting unhealthy air quality, with Pasir Gudang, Johor continuing to post the highest API, at 178.
