PM Hints At Special Budget 2027 Allocation For Youths

The Prime Minister has hinted at a special allocation for youths under Budget 2027.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says this takes into account the concerns and requests of the younger generation, including on matters regarding education costs.

Meanwhile, the PM is also urging Malaysian youth to master emerging technologies like AI and quantum computing to help drive the country’s economic growth. 

This will ensure that whatever technological advancements we achieve, will be guided by our own values, ethics and principles.

Closer attention needs to be paid to the rising use of social media among the elderly.

The Social Welfare Department says this is because spending more time on these platforms puts seniors at a higher risk of falling victim to scams.

It’s also encouraging children to keep a close eye on their parents’ social media activity, to help keep them safe online.

Johor police have confirmed opening an investigation into the death of a female student at a secondary school in Yong Peng.

They say any developments will be announced once the relevant facts are verified.
