PDRM Probing Second Drug Smuggling Attempt In Indonesia

Bukit Aman has started investigating the arrest of another Malaysian national in Indonesia over alleged drug smuggling.

The head of the Federal Narcotics Crime Investigation Department told the NST they’re following up on the matter with their Indonesian counterparts.

This, after a 22-year-old Malaysian was detained upon landing in Surabaya with meth and over a thousand ecstasy pills strapped to his body.

It comes just days after a Malaysian pilot was detained for allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs into Jakarta.

MAHB has introduced enhanced e-hailing pickup facilities as KLIA’s Terminal One…including waiting lounges and structured pickup bays.

A RM3 fee will also be imposed on every e-hailing vehicle entering the designated pickup area.
