An NGO has called for improved mental health support for civil servants.

The Alliance for a Safe Community says mental health problems must be considered a workplace safety and occupational health issue.  

As such, department heads must be trained to identify signs including stress, burnout, depression and anxiety.  

This, after a new report said 55,000 public officials were at high risk of mental health problems.

The Law and Institutional Reform Minister wants the culture of bullying at educational institutions to end now!  

She says this will ensure that these institutions can nurture future generations that are compassionate.  

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman says that so far, 55 complaints have been sent to the recently established Anti-Bullying Tribunal.

Cops are ready for the Melaka state election, which is due to happen over the next two months.  

The state police chief says they've been making preparations for several months now, and have already identified over 3,100 cops will be on duty during the period.  

This, after the Melaka chief minister said that the state legislative assembly would be dissolved today.
