The Transport Ministry is calling for a swift investigation into the fatal car crash in Simpang Renggam that killed five people, including four from the same family.
It wants the case referred to the Attorney General’s Chambers without delay, so that firm action can be taken against those responsible.
The incident occurred when one of two speeding cars lost control, before entering the opposite lane and hitting four other vehicles.
The 19-year-old driver of one of the cars has since been remanded to assist with the investigation.

Separately, KL police have arrested six individuals – four of whom are minors – after they were seen in a viral video performing dangerous motorcycle stunts in central KL.

The Johor state speaker says official notification about the dissolution of the state legislative assembly has been submitted to the Election Commission.
It is now up to the EC to decide on the dates for nomination and polling day…with the state election to be held within 60 days of the dissolution of the assembly.
