24-Hour Aerotrain Service Expected To Resume This Month

The 24-hour Aerotrain service at KLIA is expected to resume by the end of the month.

The Transport Ministry says Malaysia Airports has already completed all the necessary tests, with a full report to now be submitted to the Land Public Transport Agency.

The Aerotrain has faced several technical issues since resuming operations last July, and currently stops running for several hours at night for track maintenance.

Meanwhile, passenger processing at the country’s entry points is expected to take a mere four to five seconds with the implementation of the National Integrated Immigration System or MyNIISE this September. 

The Home Ministry is confident this will be a game changer that will help address congestions issues at the country’s airports.
