Electrical engineer and former host of the Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters, Grant Imahara has passed away at the age of 49. It was reported by Hollywood Reporter that the cause of death was due to a brain aneurysm.
Discovery’s spokesperson said in a statement: “We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant. He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family,”
Imahara co-hosted over 200 episodes of “Mythbusters” since the third season of the show. He was best known for building robots and other electronics that are needed for his experiments on the science show.
