It’s not every day you get the chance to meet your hero, so, when the time comes, make the most out of it.
A young Liverpool fan did, when he caught a glimpse of Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah.
11-year-old Louis Fowler and his brother, Isaac, aged 10, had been spending their holiday outside Liverpool’s Melwood Training Ground. They were trying to take a picture with their favourite Liverpool players when Mohamed Salah drove out of the compound.
In hopes to get a slight wave or acknowledgement from his football hero, Louis took his eyes off the path and bumped straight into a streetlamp, resulting in a busted nose.
The pain was quickly forgotten when Salah turned his car around to check on his young supporter. The Liverpool star, who scored in the team’s opening Premier League game against Norwich over the weekend, hugged the brothers and posed for pictures.
Joe Cooper, Louis and Isaac’s stepfather told Liverpool Echo that everyone was astounded when Salah turned his car around to check on the boy.
Thankfully, Louis is alright now! His stepdad wrote on behalf of Louis, stating that “a nose re-set was well worth it.”
Imagine if you met your hero in a similar situation, how would you react?
