What it is: The ketogenic diet is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that shares many similarities with the Atkins and low-carb diets.
It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with fat. This reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis.

What it is: Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating. It doesn’t specify what you should eat but rather when you should eat.

What it is: In its purest form, the paleo diet allows you to eat only food that humans ate when they first roamed the planet millions of years ago.
A paleo diet typically includes lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds — foods that in the past could be obtained by hunting and gathering.

What it is: Low carbs, High Protein and Fats Diet.
One key difference between the keto diet and Atkins is the amount of protein you’re allowed to take in. There’s no cap on Atkins, while keto limits protein to about 20 percent of your daily calories.

What it is: Focusing primarily plant-based foods, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts. It replaces butter with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil.
