Man United are reportedly losing interest in bringing in Antonio Conte as head coach, due to his high wage demands.

It’s reported that Conte is looking to strike a deal worth £18 million a season until 2025.

Conte has been heavily linked to take charge of United, as current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces mounting pressure following the club’s poor performance.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta says he has been in contact with former player Xavi recently.

Xavi earlier insisted that he was currently only focused on managing Qatari side Al-Sadd.

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo says some of his out-of-favour players are not doing enough to force their way back into his plans.

He says players must be equally committed and go beyond to meet his expectations.

Santo was responding to concerns over Dele Alli and Harry Winks, two high-profile players who have not featured much recently, and were left out of their earlier EFL Cup clash.
