5-star haaland steals the show again

Erling Haaland netted five goals, to help Man City to a 6-2 victory over Luton in the FA Cup fifth round this morning. 

This is the Norwegian striker’s eighth hattrick since joining City and the second time he’s scored five goals in a single match for them. 

Meanwhile, Newcastle secured their spot in the FA Cup quarterfinals after defeating Blackburn 4-3 on penalties.   

Leicester City also advanced after beating Bournemouth 1-0.

Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne reportedly prefers a move to Major League Soccer over a switch to Saudi Arabia.

This comes amid speculation over the 34-year-old midfielder’s future, with his City contract set to expire in 16 months

Two of our Malaysian reps have won their opening matches at the German badminton Open.

Men's doubles duo Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi and women's doubles pair Vivian Hoo/Lim Chiew Sien defeated their respective opponents in straight sets.

Meanwhile, 3 other reps will be in action today in their opening rounds, including the mixed doubles pairing of Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai.

And the Youth and Sports Ministry is urging all states in Malaysia to upgrade their main stadiums by using the 500-thousand-ringgit grant that the government has allocated to each state.
