Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has undergone surgery for the groin injury that he picked up in their recent loss to Everton. 

The EPL champions didn't give a timeframe for when he's expected to return, but believe that he will be out of action until April at the earliest.

This means that Henderson will also miss England's international matches against San Marino, Albania and Poland next month.

260 Athletes set to get vaccine jabs

260 athletes and officials who will represent Malaysia at international sporting events will be vaccinated against COVID-19 starting in April. 

The Youth and Sports Minister says they comprise those who are looking to qualify for this year's Tokyo Olympics. 

These individuals will be the first among 4 thousand athletes and officials who will get their jabs under the first phase of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme.

F1 drivers not keen on sprint race test

Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez say they are not fans of F1's plan to experiment with sprint races this year.

They say the current format is good enough as it is. 

Under the proposed format, qualifying will take place on Friday, followed by a sprint race on Saturday that will determine the order for the main race.
