Man City moved one point behind EPL leaders Liverpool, after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Bournemouth.

Phil Foden netted the winner for the Citizens midway through the first half.

Meanwhile, Arsenal kept their own title hopes alive with a 4-1 win over Newcastle.

The Gunners now sit just a point behind City…and two points adrift of the leaders.

In other selected results, Fulham beat Man United 2-1 at Old Trafford.

While Aston Villa thrashed Nottingham Forest 4-2.

-

Elsewhere…Bayern Munich defeated RB Leipzig 2-1 thanks to Harry Kane’s stoppage-time winner…for the Bavarian side’s first Bundesliga victory in three games.

-

Over in La Liga…Barcelona are up to second after a 4-0 win over Getafe.

-

National shuttler Ng Tze Yong is set to miss the upcoming All England and French Open tournaments, as he continues his treatment for a back injury.

The BAM says the player’s health remains a priority…adding that they will focus on the next course of action – particularly with regards to Olympic qualification -  once he returns to action.
