Salah names his price to stay with Liverpool

Mo Salah is reportedly demanding at least 300 thousand pounds per week to sign a new Liverpool contract.

The striker has less than two years remaining on his current deal, with other clubs closely monitoring his situation at Anfield.

Salah scored his 101^st Premier League goal for Liverpool over the weekend, helping his side to a 2-all draw with Man City.

Europe’s top women’s football leagues are the latest to oppose plans for a biennial World Cup.

They are concerned about players being overworked, and fear that the congested calendar will take attention away from the women’s game.

Earlier, the continent’s men’s leagues, as well as governing body UEFA, had rejected FIFA’s proposal to hold the World Cup every two years.
