Spurs in advanced talks to bring in Antonio Conte

Tottenham are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Antonio Conte as their new manager.

Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked as Spurs boss yesterday, after just four months on the job.

Sources say an announcement about Conte’s appointment could be made as early as today.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have stretched their unbeaten EPL run to five matches.

They pulled off an impressive 2-1 win over Everton this morning…to sit seventh in the standings.

This was also Everton’s third straight loss in the league.

Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero has been ruled out for three months, after suffering chest pains during the weekend tie against Alaves.

The club did not mention the cause of the problem…but said doctors are now trying out several treatment options.

PSG are reportedly considering terminating Sergio Ramos’ contract due to his persistent injury problems since joining in the summer.

Its believed club officials are upset at having to pay a quarter of a million pounds weekly salary for a player who’s not even fit.

Ramos joined on a free transfer from Real Madrid over the summer…but has yet to make his PSG debut due to a troublesome calf problem.

Lee Zii Jia has been told to toughen up, to cope with the workload of being the country’s number one singles shuttler.

BAM coaching director Wong Choong Hann says the 23-year-old needs to learn how to overcome the physical and mental challenges of playing back-to-back tournaments.

Zii Jia suffered a shock opening defeat at the recent French Open…which followed his participation in the Sudirman and Thomas Cups and Denmark Open.
