Disaster if Liverpool fail to finish in top-four

Mar 01, 2021

disaster if liverpool fail to finish in top-four

It would be disastrous for Liverpool if they fail to finish in the top four this season.

Liverpool legend John Aldridge  says failing to qualify for the Champions League would put a serious dent on their finances, and will wreck their transfer plans for the summer.

He pointed out that the Reds need serious reinforcement, as Thiago Alcantara has been struggling to adapt to the squad, while Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have not been at their best this season.

Liverpool are currently in 6th place in the EPL table, but are just 2 points off the top four.

He says the German coach brought great ideas and enthusiasm to the club, and he's happy to play under the German.

Chelsea are unbeaten in 9 matches in all competitions since Tuchel took charge.
