Medical experts believe immunizing children aged 5 to 11 is the most effective measure to lower their risk of COVID-19 infection.

They reckon that issues around the child’s safety should not arise.

It’s because there have been no reports of adverse side effects in countries like Singapore and the US, which have already started giving the jab to young kids.

Because of this, they believe there is no reason for parents to delay getting their kids vaccinated.

The vaccination program for children aged five to 11 is expected to start soon here in Malaysia now that the Pfizer jab has been granted conditional approval.
