The Education Ministry will soon release a new schedule for the 2021 SPM exam. 

It's minister says this is after he met with the relevant agencies, such as the Malaysian Examinations Board. 

The previous schedule came under criticism, as some papers were scheduled on Friday and Sunday. 

Separately, the Education Ministry says over 100,000 school students in years Five and Six are at risk of suffering from issues including depression, sadness,and a lack of interest.

This is based on a screening that it conducted mid-this year. 

The ministry will take several intervention measures to help such students.

New Unlimited Pass for Klang Valley Public Transport

The PM has launched the Keluarga Malaysia travel pass, for Prasarana's public transport services in the Klang Valley.

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says this will encourage families to go out and spend quality time with their loved ones. 

The 15 ringgit pass allows four persons from the same family to enjoy unlimited daily access to LRT, MRT, Monorails and RapidKL buses, as well as the BRT Sunway line. 

They can enjoy these rides on weekends and public holidays.

Today's Vaccine Stats

Close to 52 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have now been given out since the start of the National Immunisation Programme. 

This includes booster shots. 

So far, 95-and-a-half percent of adults have aready completed both doses, while it's at 82.3% for adolescents. 

Meanwhile, new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia rose by 31 today, to 4,885.
