Parents and guardians are reminded to ensure that teenagers turn up for their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Authorities say there’ve been several cases of adolescents missing their second appointments.

They add that the second dose rate was supposed to reach 80 percent next week.

However, because of the missed appointments, we will only hit this figure in late November or early December.

The number of new Covid-19 cases remains on an uptrend.

5,731 new infections were reported yesterday, compared to 5,200-plus the day before.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has also reported over a thousand cases of the Delta variant between October 29th and yesterday.
