Malaysian passports in high demand by syndicates

Malaysian passports are in high demand by clients of fake passport syndicates because of its privileges.
Thailand's Immigration Bureau says the syndicates are particularly interested in the visa exemptions to several countries granted to Malaysian passport holders.
It's especially popular among Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans and Chinese nationals looking for fake documents, as they look physically similar to Malaysians.
Thai authorities arrested 2 people in May trying to leave the country with fake Malaysian passports.
