Police deny social media rumours that a police van exploded in KL

Jul 13, 2016

The police have denied social media rumours claiming a police van exploded at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman yesterday, injuring 3 officers.

The Dang Wangi police chief says the burning van shown in a photo that has gone viral does not belong to the police, nor were any officers injured.

He says the incident in the picture was from 2 days ago, where a man was passing through Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman when his van's engine burst into flames.
