8-year-old girl shooting victim in stable condition

An 8-year-old girl who was seriously injured when her mother was shot dead next to her in Taman OUG on Wednesday, is in stable condition

The child had to undergo a 2nd surgery to remove a bullet lodged in her liver following the incident.

The attack saw the child's mother shot dead while driving a car with her 5 children and maid onboard.

A post-mortem has been conducted on the mother, but the authorities have yet to release the results.

Initial investigations show the motive for the killing may concern a business the victim managed with her husband.
