Penang Chief Minister to be charged in court today

The Penang Chief Minister will be charged in court today over a bungalow he reportedly bought for below market price.

Lim Guan Eng and the woman who sold him the house were arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday.

Guan Eng was also investigated for the sale of land at Taman Manggis in Penang which was meant for the construction of affordable homes.

Meanwhile, Penang's DAP will hold an emergency meeting today to discuss Guan Eng's arrest.
