Motorists using emergency lanes will be dragged to court

As the Raya exodus begins, JPJ has warned those who use emergency lanes will not be compounded, but dragged to court.

Those charged and convicted for the offence can be fined 2,000 ringgit or jailed for 6 months or both.

JPJ also received close to 430 complaints on motorists using the emergency lane between 22nd May and 24th June.
