2 Immigration officers detained

Feb 25, 2016

Bukit Aman has detained 9 people, including 2 immigration officers, suspected of being members of a human trafficking syndicate.

They targeted Chinese nationals, and would smuggle them through KLIA to a 3rd country using genuine Malaysian passports.

The syndicate charged RM40,000 for a Malaysian passport and is believed to be working with an international criminal group.
