No ban on male doctors.

The Health Ministry has no plans to ban male doctors from delivering babies at public hospitals.
It says this is because saving lives is more important than the issue of a doctor's gender.
The ministry was responding to proposals to only allow female doctors to deliver babies at gov hospitals
However, patients can request to be treated by a doctor of their own gender.
