Govt to come up with system to check militancy among students

Jul 08, 2016

The Higher Education Ministry will meet with the Home Ministry this month, to come up with a system of rules to check militancy among students, especially foreigners.

It hopes this will enable more effective monitoring of students' activities, to ensure they're not involved in militancy.

This, after the IGP confirmed that 2 foreigners studying at a private uni in PJ were in the Dhaka restaurant in Bangladesh that came under attack last Saturday.

However, it's still uncertain if they were among the attackers, or hostages.
