Number of dengue cases continues to rise

The number of dengue cases in the country has continued to rise, posting a 10 to 20 percent increase for 3 straight weeks.

The Health Ministry adds, 12 states have shown an increase in the number of dengue cases compared to the weeks before.

They include Selangor, Kelantan, Kedah, and Negeri Sembilan. 

Meanwhile, the Ministry is continuing to monitor for the presence of the Zika virus here, with 500 blood samples tested so far, all coming back negative.
