PM announces a number of changes to the cabinet

PM Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has announced a number of changes to the Malaysian cabinet.

Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah has resigned from his cabinet post, and will be replaced by Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani.

Meanwhile, Datuk Lee Chee Leong and Datuk Othman Aziz will be taking up the 2 Deputy Finance Minister portfolios.

Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan has replaced Tan Sri Wahid Omar as the minister in charge of the Economic Planning Unit.

Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman's former portfolio as Minister of Housing, Urban Wellbeing and Local Government will be taken over by Tan Sri Noh Omar.

Gerakan president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Kiong has been appointed Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister, replacing Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah.

Datuk Datu Nasrun Mansur has been appointed as Mah's deputy.
