44,000 complaints received last year, involving losses of RM233mil

The National Consumer Complaints Centre received over 44 thousand complaints last year, involving losses of 233 million ringgit.
According to its director, most complaints were about online purchases, accounting for 7,600 complaints, 2 thousand more than the previous year.
Other complaints included general consumer goods, telecommunications services and the tourism industry.
