NO haze is expected in Malaysia, at least till May, despite the alarming number of forest fires in Indonesia.

The Met Department says currently the wind is blowing in the north-east direction, so the smog won't reach Malaysia.

Hw, it adds the wind patterns will turn towards Malaysia during the south-west monsoon, between May till September.

Mw, firefighters are trying to control 10 hotspots burning within Malaysia.
