GST exceeds RM27bil target

GST collection in 2015 is estimated to have exceeded the RM27bil target set by the government.
The Customs Department says the exact collection from the new tax regime will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the Department expects to collect 39 billion ringgit from the GST this year.
