Govt to consider safe house proposal for male domestic violence victims

The govt will consider a proposal to set up a safe house for male victims of domestic violence. 

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says there are men who face such a situation, but the number is still small. 

It adds for now, the ministry can help male victims of domestic abuse, by giving them counselling. 

Also, the ministry has declared October as National Counselling Month, to increase peopel's awareness on mental health issues.
