Electricity prices will not be reduced, despite falling global oil prices.
The Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister told the Dewan Rakyat, it's because the weaker ringgit has resulted in the utility firm paying more for fuel and power generation costs.
The current tariff rate has been fixed until 2017, and the minister said the rate may not go up after that.
