The founder of the KK Mart convenience store chain and his wife have pleaded not guilty, after they were charged with intentionally wounding religious feelings by selling socks with the world Allah printed on them. 

They were charged under Section 298 of the Penal Code, which provides for imprisonment of up to one year, a fine, or both, upon conviction.

Meanwhile, KK Mart has filed a lawsuit against the supplier of the socks in question. 

It says it allowed the company to sell arm covers on a consignment basis but did not give permission for the display or sale of the socks – which were put out without the convenience stores’ knowledge.

The primary school syllabus will soon include the basics of Artificial Intelligence.

The Education Ministry says this will be implemented from 2027 onwards.

It explained that the basics of AI will first be introduced at the primary level…before students get to further explore the subject via computer science and IT subjects in secondary school.

Cops have rubbished social media claims about the apparent death of 10 teenagers in Kuala Selangor after smoking vape laced with magic mushrooms.

The Kuala Selangor police chief says no reports have been lodged so far, while urging people not to spread unverified information.
