Hot Spell's End In Sight

Mar 25, 2024

hot spell's end in sight

MetMalaysia says the hot and dry spell could ease by mid-April, due to the inter-monsoon period that is expected to start this Friday.

It will bring heavy rain and strong winds in the evening to the west coast and interior of the Peninsular, western Sabah, and the southern and central regions of Sarawak.

Meanwhile MetMalaysia says Perlis and Beaufort, Sabah were under a Level-2 Heatwave Alert today, with temperatures of between 37-40 degrees Celsius.

Every state nationwide also had areas that were under a less severe Level-1 alert, except for Penang and Terengganu.

The Education Ministry has promised to give its full cooperation to the police, over a teacher who was accused of grooming her form-5 pupil.

It says it has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual misconduct among teaching staff.

As such, anyone with info about sexual crimes at its education institutions should lodge a report immediately, so that action can be taken.
