Police have called up all those who were involved in an alleged bullying case, which went viral on social media.

Cops earlier confirmed that the incident took place at a boarding school in Perak.

Meanwhile, the Education Ministry says the incident did not happen at any institutions under its purview.

A group of students were seen taking turns punching another student.

KLCC Convention Center event organiser fined RM1k

The organizer of an event at the KLCC Convention Center has been fined RM1,000 ringgit for flouting COVID-19 SOPs.

Khairy Jamaluddin says he is disappointed with the incident, as the organisers had previously stated their commitment to ensure SOP compliance.

The Health Minister says instead, the congestion and lack of physical distancing at the event created a risk of spreading the coronavirus.

He adds that counters to pay discounted police and JPJ summons there have been ordered to close immediately.

New COVID-19 cases still over 5k

Daily COVID-19 infections dipped after the Health Ministry reported 5,058 cases today.

This is 388 infections lower compared to yesterday’s figure.
