Authorities could soon begin talks to launch a Sea Vaccinated Travel Lane between Malaysia and Singapore.

The Johor Menteri Besar says discussions over the matter are expected to take place by as early as January.

He adds that the VTL could be between the Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal near Kota Tinggi and Singapore’s Tanah Merah Terminal.

He also hopes the travel lane will help boost the tourism sector.
