Do not let your guard down; The fight against Covid-19 is far from over.

Malaysian Public Health Physicians’ Association president Datuk Dr Zainal Ariffin Omar is reminding the public to remain vigilant.

"Continue adhering to SOPs like the wearing of face masks and avoid attending social events."

He also repeated the calls of the Health Ministry to postpone any idea of lifting the interstate travel restriction during Hari Raya, due to the country’s COVID-19 outbreak.

The government has assured businesses that it has no intention to enforce a third nationwide MCO.

However, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin says industries must comply with Covid-19 SOPs, especially in workers' accommodations.

This, as seven Kelantan districts will undergo a MCO starting today.

The districts are Kota Bharu, Pasir Mas, Pasir Puteh, Bachok, Machang, Tumpat and Tanah Merah.

Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases have once again breached the 2,000 mark!

The Health Ministry reported 2,148 infections yesterday, the highest in 41 days.

There are currently more than 17 thousand people seeking treatment for the coronavirus.

Covid-19 clusters linked to educational institutions dominated the list yesterday, accounting for a third of the 15 clusters reported.

The Health Ministry says 6 of the 15 clusters reported were classified as community transmission while the remaining nine were related to workplaces.
