it's still back to school next month

Secondary school students are still on track to return to classes next month, despite a rise in COVID-19 cases involving education institutes.

The Education Ministry says strict SOPs will be in place, adding that it will continue to monitor the situation.

Since the start of the year, over 40 clusters have been detected related to schools nationwide.

Secondary schools in Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu are set to welcome back students from April 4th, while those in other states will return from April 5th.

Extension for renewal of road tax and driving license

it's still back to school next month

Public vehicle owners have been given more time to renew their road tax and driving license.

The Transport Minister says those whose license and road tax expired in February and March now have until the end of May to renew them.

Its Minister says the renewal extension is because of the various Movement Control Orders still enforced nationwide.

New COVID-19 cases dip to over 1,200

it's still back to school next month

Malaysia reported a slight drop in new COVID-19 cases today, at 1,275.

Selangor continues to record the highest number of infections with 478 cases, followed by Sarawak and Penang.

Meanwhile, Putrajaya, Perlis, Pahang, and Labuan recorded single digit infections.

The Health Ministry also reported one fatality, raising the death toll to 1,249.
