Did you know that while Jackie Chan was filming his latest film, Vanguard, the legend nearly drowned?
It was reported that Jackie was filming an action sequence with co-star Miya Muqi. The two were on a jet ski when a near tragedy struck- the jet ski had unexpectedly hit a small rocky embankment which flipped it over, sending both of them into the water.
Muqi resurfaced immediately while Jackie was still underwater.
For approximately 45 seconds, the 66-year-old legendary stuntman and actor was nowhere to be found. The incident sent the crew in panic mode as they frantically searched for him.
Moments later, he emerged, smiling, alive and unharmed.
“I don’t remember what happened, but it felt like something was helping me,” the actor recalled.
“I pushed the jet ski away and the current pushed me out of the water.”
Could you imagine if something were to happen to Jackie Chan? We sure can’t.
